Rob Godman

As well as his concert hall and gallery pieces, Rob has worked on large-scale public art projects, projecting sound and light onto many of the world’s most iconic buildings throughout Europe and Australia. 
 
The relationship between art and science, interdisciplinary methods and spatial properties of sound are also pivotal. Future-proofing ‘old tech’, making it performable, and bringing these works to a new audience has become central to his arts practice.
 
He has a passionate interest in how sound behaves acoustically and has developed many techniques for controlling and building virtual spaces for use within live performance and installation.
